Project description: I-TOWN – “Italian Training qualificatiOn Workforce in buildiNg “- is a project financed by the European program BUILD UP SKILLS Pillar II, I town aims to create and update training programs for skilled workers and artisans in the field of efficiency and renewable energy in the building sector; to enhance competences and generate high-quality skills to achieve the EU’s goals of energy saving and environmental protection.

The results, the contents and the objectives of the project are to meet the EU 20.20.20 targets :

• Reduce energy consumption by 20%
• Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 20%
• Meet 20% of energy needs through renewable resources

The partnership is composed by: Formedil (Italy), ANCE, ASSISTAL, FOUNDATION ECIPA-CNA, POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF TURIN, RENAEL (Energy Agencies of Livorno, Liguria, Cosenza and Chieti), SINERGIE and UNIVERSITY OF NAPLES FEDERICO II
